All-round mechanic

Lume Traveler is looking for an Allround Technician/Installer who wants to be part of building our unique Travelers. In this role you work with high-quality materials, provide custom-made solutions, and ensure that every component is technically and meticulously finished to perfection.

As an Allround Technician/Installer, you’ll be involved in assembly and finishing, ensuring that every component is technically sound and perfectly finished.

Lume Traveler is the innovative caravan manufacturer from Holten, where luxury, design and pure freedom come together. We design and build every model from A to Z in the Netherlands — with an eye for detail, using the finest materials (aluminium enclosures, teak wood, wool felt, high-quality finishes) and with suppliers who prioritize craftsmanship and quality.

What are you going to do?

Assembly and finishing of our Lume caravans.
Working with high-quality and solid materials, including wood.
Mounting and finishing of interior components.
Creating and executing custom-made products.
Installing and connecting water and gas systems.
Mounting of electrical options and technical components.
Finishing of interiors and exteriors.
Adjusting and making parts suitable when the situation requires it.
Testing and checking of various systems and functions.
Identifying and resolving technical or practical problems.
Sometimes I consult with engineering, sales, and the customer about custom solutions and technical issues.
Checking your own work and ensuring high-quality final finishing.
Contribute to improving our products and production processes.

What are you bringing?

Proven experience with solid materials, preferably wood.
A good sense of materials, dimensions and finishes.
You can work independently and know how to turn an idea or drawing into a beautiful final product.
You have experience with hand tools and power tools.
You work very precisely and have an eye for detail.
You have technical and practical insight.
You enjoy creating custom solutions when something cannot be done in a standard way.
You are critical of your own work and only proceed if something is truly good.
You can understand and apply technical drawings and instructions.
You enjoy alternating between different tasks.
You are a team player, but you can also take responsibility independently.
Experience with water, gas, electricity or technical installation is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Experience with caravan, trailer, automotive, yacht or interior construction is a plus.
