Supply Chain Manager (NL/ENG)

Lume Traveler is looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will lead and further professionalize our international supply chain. In this role, you will oversee purchasing, planning, transportation, and delivery, ensuring that our production always has the right materials and components.

As Supply Chain Manager, you ensure that our international supply chain runs smoothly and that materials and components are available at the right time, with the right quality and at the right conditions for our production in Holten.

What are you going to do?

Maintaining daily contact with our international suppliers and production partners.
Coordinate and follow up on ongoing purchase orders.
Monitoring of production planning, delivery times and delivery agreements.
Coordinate specifications, quantities, packaging and delivery times with suppliers.
Coordinate international shipments and coordinate with logistics partners.
Monitoring stock levels and timely signaling of future purchasing needs.
Checking that agreements regarding quality, price, planning and delivery are being met.
Detecting and resolving delays, deviations, and other disruptions in the supply chain.
Support in selecting, evaluating and developing suppliers.
Negotiate prices, delivery times and other commercial terms.
Monitoring the quality and continuity of our suppliers.
Checking relevant transport and import documentation.
Contribute to and improve our internal purchasing and logistics processes.
Ensuring good information flow between suppliers, logistics partners, production and the team in the Netherlands.

What are you bringing?

Fluency in Chinese is a must.
In addition, you speak and write Dutch fluently or English.
Proven experience in an operational procurement or supply chain function, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in international logistics and organizing the transport of industrial materials and components.
Experience with international suppliers and maintaining business relationships.
Knowledge of international transport processes and related documentation.
Experience with planning and monitoring purchase orders, delivery times and stock levels.
Experience with an ERP system; experience with Exact Online is a strong advantage.
Technical insight and the ability to understand product specifications, materials, and components well.
Experience with quality control at suppliers is a plus.
You stand firmly in your shoes and dare to address suppliers when agreements are not being met.
You are strong in negotiations and know how to find a good balance between maintaining a sustainable relationship and safeguarding Lume’s interests.
Experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with Chinese producers is a strong advantage.
You are structured and precise and can oversee multiple suppliers, orders and deliveries at the same time.
You are proactive, action-oriented, and solution-oriented.
