Electrical installer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who bridges the gap between production and service — someone who can not only install and test the correct wiring and system components, but also work on-site to provide service/maintenance for customers and dealers.

About Lume

At Lume Traveler, we build more than caravans. We create Travelers that combine luxury, freedom, and design, allowing our Members to discover the world in a stylish way. Each model is hand-built in Holten and meticulously finished down to the last detail. As an electrical engineer, you ensure that all of our Travelers’ electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and perfectly.

Lume Traveler is the innovative caravan manufacturer from Holten, where luxury, design and pure freedom come together. We design and build every model from A to Z in the Netherlands — with an eye for detail, using the finest materials (aluminium enclosures, teak wood, wool felt, high-quality finishes) and with suppliers who prioritize craftsmanship and quality.
Our caravans — the Adventure, Expedition and Nordic — offer travelers an unforgettable experience: sleeping under the stars, a chef-style outdoor kitchen, the comfort of a hotel suite and the freedom of untouched nature.

What are you bringing?

A completed degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering at level 3 or 4. This is not mandatory if you have relevant experience.
Work experience preferably in a production environment, for example in the automotive or trailer and caravan industry.
Experience with Victron Energy electronics is a plus, but you don't need to be an expert. We offer internal training to get you to the level we want.
Able to work independently and accurately, with a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
Flexibility to switch between production work in the workshop and service or interventions at customers' premises.
A team player with good communication skills who wants to contribute to building a growing company with international ambitions.

What do we have to offer you?

A market-compliant salary according to the CAO Carrosseriebedrijf (Metal & Engineering) agreement, suitable for your experience and responsibilities.
Internal training and guidance to help you gain further knowledge of our systems, special electrical applications, and service processes.
Working in a small and enthusiastic team, in a craft business where your work is truly visible.
A workplace where quality, craftsmanship and innovation are at the heart of everything. You become part of a brand that stands out in design and performance.
Opportunity to travel for service and interventions, allowing you to alternate between the workshop and 'on the road'.
Inspiring challenges, wonderful colleagues, and the pride of building something special.

Ready for your next challenge?

Please fill in your details and upload your CV and cover letter. We would be happy to tell you more about the role, the team, opportunities within our organisation, and the application process.
